Philipp Bannholzer (grandson of Ekkehard Preuss and founder of the Banntex GmbH)

The Banntex GmbH was founded after the retirement of Ekkehard Preuss, managing director of the Theodor Preuss GmbH & Co. KG and grandfather of Phillip Bannholzer. Thus, we are able to resort to more than 100 years of competence in the field of technical textiles and knitted fabric. We benefit from the longstanding experience and joy of innovation of the Theodor Preuss GmbH & Co. KG, thus being able to master the challenges to come and to find individual textile engineering solutions in collaboration with our customers.

Our focus is set to innovations. Ever since we started our business, our company’s innovative commitment has been the foundation for progress and safeguarding the future. Research and development of new products and procedures were not only the passion of the Theodor Preuss GmbH & Co. KG. The Banntex GmbH acts under the same motto: “We develop and produce solutions from technical textiles”. This motto stands for current, past and future innovations we can refer to as a successful family company.

Our production programme ranges from fine knitted fabric for the food, filter and medical industry to ultra fine polyester fabric used in the automotive and sports industry or for security equipment, and also covers special problem solutions for the plastics, glass and rubber industry.

We offer flexibility and customer-oriented development in connection with comprehensive machinery, thus providing our customers with the certainty of maximum quality and reliability. This is the foundation for our company’s success.
